You could try P.A.T.
Places an author might begin a new paragraph::
- at the beginning of a story,
- when the topic changes,
- when the speaker changes,
- when the setting changes, etc…
One way to remember to paragraph is to notice when (P) the place changes, (A) the action changes, and (T) the time changes (P-A-T). Make it P.A.T.S. by adding (S) the speaker changes.
