1. Scribbles for Today: Hadlee Taylor and Camille Allred
Prompt #1: The sixth grade girls of Barlow and Bear Creek Ridge have been waiting to play in the annual softball game -- the Bat 6 -- for as long as they can remember. But something is different this year. There's a new girl on both teams, each with a secret in her past which sets them on a collision course set to explode on game day. No one knows how to stop it. 2. Finish up your collage of creativity. Share them with the teacher on a Google Doc. They are due today. Creativity Collage Assignment
When you finish those, ask for the list of poets for the Survivor of the Poets activity. You may start looking them up to decide which one you would like to represent. 
You need at least 4 poems from your poet because you will present/represent them in class as a small group or three or four.
